Walls

The strong walls that surround the fortress form a trapezoid and are founded directly on the natural rock. They have a perimeter of 614 m and are intermittently interrupted by rectangular and semi-circular towers. Today they are preserved at a height ranging from 5.0 to 8.0 m. Their masonry is made of mudstone with sporadic bricks and plaster as a binder.
